gemma_ypgMemberOoops, sorry Serena, I didn’t mean to freak anyone out.
They contacted me asking what type of business I was using my Alertpay account for, what website (if any) I use for it and what product or service the money pays for.
I answered that I sell used underwear, I have been doing it online since 2007 with no chargebacks etc, sent them my website url for them to take a look at and there was no problem at all. 🙂
I assume they wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something naughty (not fun type naughty of course) and it all checked out so no problem.

gemma_ypgMemberMine are pretty dry when I send them out because they’re pretty dry when I take them off. Whenever I take them off the juices are fairly dry, which is odd because when I put my fingers on ‘the spot’ it’s wet, and so obviously what’s on the gusset must have been wet when it arrived there, but I’ve never really seen it still very damp on the knickers.
I used to worry about it when I started selling, but my buyers seem happy with my scent and keep coming back so I guess it’s not really a problem. I ended up deciding it’s probably for the best after reading some debates about ammonia or bacteria stewing there during shipping. After all, Australia is a warm place and it can sometimes take up to a week of travel time for my package to arrive when I’m shipping overseas.
As to why though, it’s a magical mystery. Low humidity where I live? Panty gnomes using tiny hairdryers in my knickers? Who can tell…

gemma_ypgMemberI’ve been with Alertpay for ages now and you’re right PK they’ve been through it before and they’ve managed to resolve it eventually. It’s a bugger in the mean time though.
I can vouch that they are very careful about doing the right thing too, they checked me out to find out what I was selling and make sure it was above board. It’s such a shame that they’ve tried to provide a good service and keep getting stuffed around.

gemma_ypgMemberMerry X-Mas to everyone for tomorrow, I hope you all get extra-special goodies in your stockings. 😉
Just a reminder too that there’s one week left of my X-Mas December special, so if you want to grab yourself a treat there’s still time.

gemma_ypgMemberDamn, goodbye Stix and best of luck with everything in your future. You were always such a sweetie, and a fabulously sexy lady. 😉

gemma_ypgMemberHi and welcome, looks like the Aussies are out in force these days. 🙂
BTW, cool avatar Nicola…. I think it’s ‘Bible Black’? Great series :coolsmiley:

gemma_ypgMemberThanks Nicola! I’ve had a great time since I started selling and I think you’ll find that there’s some great Aussie customers out there who like having panties available close to home.
I hope you have a blast! :cheer:

gemma_ypgMemberHey all,
I remember when I set up my site I had a hell of a time figuring out what to charge for shipping. The auspost website pretends it’s going to be helpful but it’s like dealing with the bureaucratic levels of hell.
I also didn’t have a kitchen scale to figure out how much things were going to weigh on average. After a while it all made sense though. The express shipping cost really is outrageous though, I don’t offer it any more because it’s not worth it for the ‘faster’ *cough* delivery.

PS I haven’t disappeared, I’m just obsessed with fish right now, long story! 😛
gemma_ypgMemberCongrats to all the winners of this year’s panty awards!
I wish I could have been there for the awards, but it seems I’m not as good at figuring out this time-zone thing as I thought.

gemma_ypgMemberGreat work Pk, thanks so much for putting all this effort in! 🙂

gemma_ypgMemberI don’t know much about Google Adwords, but ranking is separate to paying for advertising. Take a look around for sites about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), which used to be about meta tags but is a bit more complex these days.
There’s some great info on http://www.webmasterworld.com.

November 22, 2007 at 4:01 am in reply to: when shipping to the u.s., how do u mark the package? #18508gemma_ypgMemberOver here you have to put a sticker on every package you mail overseas, it has two sections and one part sticks to the package and the other gets torn off and filed by Auspost. You have to show your ID when you mail it too, and they record it on the torn off part. Apparently it’s an anti-terrorism thing, so if anyone has posted something evil they’ve seen the ID and know where to find them.
It’s just a pain in the bum that means you have to wait in line every time, no dropping it in a box to mail off. 🙁

gemma_ypgMemberDamn, I was hoping for best eyebrows this year too.
Many thanks to PK (and any Panty Elves who might be involved) for organising the awards!
