that’s what was running through my mind, the old threads are perhaps confusing now that we have the offical Awards going on.

I like your point about habving an area where buyers / sellers can award an ‘instant’ Golden Award for fun.? I think that’s what this area is really for now.

I’ll keep the old ones locked for a little while and then delete them later unless anyone thinks otherwise.

People can still make new posts in this area for fun, or for an instant praise of their favourite seller, but if the post is in relation to the new Offical Awards, I’ll move the topic to the proper area.

You know, I’ve been thinking a bit since I posted yesterday.  I wondered then if it would be registered members voting, but it strikes me after thinking about it that this is an ideal opportunity to open up voting to regulars of toher sites who may not be members here.

I’m thinking of members or buyers from eBare etc who are going to publicise the Award.  I’m sure that tracking the votes is easy to do, and with a triple scrutiny system in place, as you say PK, this is one voting thing that can be done right and without any manipulation.

OK, I’ve convinced myself!  The vote should be open to non registered members I think  🙂
