I feel so loved!tastykacieMemberHilarious!
But how much of a dork am I for thinking that that’s a crappy Dance Pad, mine is sooo much better. 🙂tastykacieMemberThanks Lolly!
It actually makes me feel that my lack of social life or even internet life has been worth it.
Yikes, I’m starting to feel like a grown up!tastykacieMemberAnother great big thank you, Mike!
It’s always good to hear that I can keep you happy.
tastykacieMemberHi Anni,
I just wanted to put in my 2¢ about checks. I don’t accept personal checks for the following reasons:
•They could bounce, so you need to wait a few days and follow up to make sure the check clears.
•Customers can get canceled checks back and see your info on them (name, signature, bank it was cashed at). Or you can view canceled checks online (that’s how my bank works).
•If you write a check out to “Cash” to avoid the legible name thing, the bank usually takes a fee for the transaction.
I know this is a bit off topic from Payment Processors, but I just don’t want anyone putting personal info out there without knowing.tastykacieMemberGood luck Anna!
It’s been so great having you here, and I’m happy you’ll still be around.tastykacieMemberOk, I guess spam is just par for the course and I’ve been lucky up till now.
I’ll look into that email coder too, thanks!
tastykacieMemberThank you everyone for the links and for trying my form.
I completely took it off my site until I have some serious time to sit down and learn.
For those of you that have forms on your site, do they increase the amount of spam you get? Ever since I put mine up, I’ve gotten more than double what I usually had.
Also, for the free form builder sites, how secure are those for the customers? Would them inputting their email cause them to get tons of spam? I’m seriously debating going the form builder route, but I don’t want it to be a bust too!
Thanks.tastykacieMemberHere’s where my panties have been so far:
All over the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain, and IrelandThey’ve traveled more than me!
tastykacieMemberGrrrr. I knew it!
I haven’t gotten anything that even resembles an order form. Had something with an .att extension that wouldn’t open.I programed the submit button function to be mailto:tastykacie@yahoo.com
Is there a step I missed? Or can someone refer me to an html for really super dummies because apparently I don’t get it.
tastykacieMemberThanks so much you two! It’s always good to know that my espresso fueled computer sessions were worthwhile.
tastykacieMemberHey again,
I’m back online, but I still left my auto reply on my email b/c I now have to reinstall everything and work on redoing my site, I didn’t have a chance to back up everything before my hard drive froze and I’m not going to take it somewhere to have it recovered (embarrassing!). So, my site might be getting a new look soon, wish it was under better circumstances 🙂tastykacieMemberThanks for the great review, Mike!
 :kiss:tastykacieMemberThat’s the same reason I deleted my profile too.
tastykacieMemberI have shipped to England, Australia, Canada, and Scotland with no problem at all. On the customs sticker I always write something like socks or handkerchiefs or something like that and write the value as nothing b/c it’s a “gift.” I have even sent a full outfit and simply put “clothing” on the label and it’s been fine. It’s a bit more expensive by a few dollars, but it’s not too bad.
Good luck! -
