Phew! It has been busy here at Panty Hog lately. We?ve fought off a delusional webmaster, zapped our first server, zipped though our predicted bandwidth needs for a month in 17 days, politely responded to a rash of hate-filled email from a fanatic religious group, and made several changes/additions to the Panty Hog web site since my last entry. Through it all though, I hope that you are continuing to find Panty Hog a useful and fun must visit! A big Welcome to all of our new registered members, and a huge Thank You to all who contribute their content to the site and for all the very nice email we receive from Panty Hog supporters. As Panty Hog approaches its third month anniversary, I?m happy to say we?re here, we?re stable, and we continue to grow everyday.
I?ll jump right in with the new additions to Panty Hog. Hopefully you?ve noticed that we aren?t blowing smoke when we say Panty Hog belongs to each member of the used panty community. You tell us what you want or need, and we?ll get it here. People have asked for certain features so we?re happy to say they?ve arrived. New features include a new forum, user photo galleries, a diary/blog component, and a web ring. The features on…
the new forum are almost endless. If you haven?t stopped by the Panty Talk forums lately, please check it out. This isn?t just a featured-filled bulletin-board area. This forum upgrade has given us a very nice user profile function and private messaging system. Be sure to complete your profile page to let others know who you are, what your interests are, and what you sell if you?re a panty seller.
The new photo gallery is another great way to show yourself off, and promote your panties. On the other hand, it could also be a very nice way for panty fans to show us how they enjoy themselves with a great pair of panties. Thanks to the ladies that have stepped up to be among the first in the galleries, for the rest of you, quit being so shy! We?d all love to see you there. At the request of some, we?ve even removed the rating and commenting ability. Post your gallery with no worries.
The new diary/blog component makes it very easy for you to set up your own area on Panty Hog. With it you let others know how your thoughts from day-to-day, post up dates on your sales, contests, or new items, or even publish your panty-related novel! The best part is that you can cut and paste. Write it off line when you want, and upload it to your area when you?re ready. If you already have a blog on your site or elsewhere, just copy and paste it here for double the exposure.
By request, we?ve added a web ring component. It has been up for a couple of days, but so far, no one has used it. This is actually the best time to get in on it because members of the ring are listed here and the sooner you join, the higher up your site will be in the listing. If you have questions on how it works, just ask us.
Lastly in the new features area, PK has finally learned to never say never. Many of you have been twisting his arm, and he has decided to give in. All he?ll let me tell you at the moment is to make sure you check back later this week for an addition to Panty Hog that is sure to raise some eyebrows in the used panty community.
I remain amazed at the amount of visitors we get from far away lands. The fascination with used panties and the great ladies that wear them is truly international. It is great to see that the commonality of the used panty fetish is so strong despite geographical, ethnic, and cultural differences. As I have mentioned before, the community here would be thrilled to hear more from panty fans and providers from outside our more common borders. Please don?t be shy about letting us know who you are, and what you like. If your English isn?t perfect, or is non-existent, don?t worry. Send it to us any way, we?ll get it translated, and even publish it in your language because you are very likely not our only visitor to from your area. On that note, we are still looking for Asian language translators. As you might know, the free services that visitors can use to translate English sites such as Goggle and bablefish don?t really support Asian language translations. If you or someone you know would be willing to do a paid translation, please contact us.
Last, in keeping with the title of this blog, my familiar rant?Send in your news! From the email we get, it still seems that it isn?t clear that posting your news, updates, introductions, photos, and banners is absolutely free and open to every single person that visits. Register (free), log in, and post it right to the front page. It is honestly that simple. No costs, no ridiculous return link policy. You send it in; we?ll publish it. I guarantee that you will not find a better way to let panty fans know who you are, and what you offer even if you did pay for it. Hungry panty fans and search engines stop by every day to find you. They can?t find you, if you don?t let them know you?re out there!!
